1.1 These Website Terms of Use (Terms of Use) govern your access to and use of the Chef Next Door website and associated applications (Website).

1.2 The Website is owned and operated by Chef Next Door Pty Ltd (ACN 696 915 518 / ABN 38 696 915 518)(we, us, our).

1.3 By accessing or using the Website, you (you, your) agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not access the Website.

1.4 Additional terms apply depending on your role:

• Chefs: Chef Seller Agreement (separate document)

2.1 Chef Next Door is a marketplace facilitator only. We provide technology that connects independent Chefs with Customers. We are not a food business, seller, supplier, producer, or distributor of food. We do not resell food.

3.1 We endeavour to keep the Website accessible but do not guarantee uninterrupted, continuous, or error-free access.

3.2 We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Website at any time without notice or liability.

3.3 The Website and its data are hosted by third-party providers (including Supabase). We are not liable for outages, data loss, or security incidents caused by third-party hosting infrastructure.

4.1 All content, design, layout, code, graphics, logos, trade marks, branding, and materials on the Website (excluding Chef-provided content) are the property of Chef Next Door or its licensors.

4.2 You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not:

• reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, or transmit Website content without prior written consent;
• modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works;
• scrape, data-mine, harvest, or use automated tools to collect data;
• frame, mirror, or deep-link without consent; or
• remove or alter proprietary notices.

4.3 The Chef Next Door name, logo, and associated branding are trade marks of Chef Next Door Pty Ltd.

5.1 If you submit content (including reviews, comments, photographs, or feedback) (User Content), you:

• retain ownership of your original content;
• grant Chef Next Door a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, adapt, and distribute your User Content for platform operation and promotion;
• warrant that your User Content is accurate, does not infringe third-party rights, and is not unlawful or objectionable; and
• acknowledge that we may remove User Content at our discretion.

6.1 Listings are provided by independent Chefs. Chef Next Door does not verify, endorse, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, safety, or quality of any Listing. Listings do not constitute endorsement by Chef Next Door.

6.2 You should independently verify any Listing information important to your decisions.

7.1 The Website may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (including Stripe for payment and Supabase for hosting). We do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for third-party content, practices, or availability.

8.1 You must not use the Website to:

• engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity;
• violate any person's rights;
• transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code;
• interfere with security, integrity, or performance;
• impersonate any person or entity;
• collect personal information without consent;
• send unsolicited commercial communications; or
• breach any applicable law.

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

9.2 We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or virus-free, or that any information is accurate, complete, or reliable.

10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Chef Next Door is not liable for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Website;
• Chef Next Door is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss; and
• Chef Next Door is not liable for the acts, omissions, food, or conduct of any Chef or user.

10.2 Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes any right or guarantee that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

11.1 Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy.

12.1 We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms of Use or engaged in harmful conduct.

13.1 These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

14.1 We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last Updated" date indicates the most recent version. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

15.1 If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
